Tourist earns pricey memory

A TOURIST lost her driver’s licence and was fined after she was caught speeding on the Border.

Myrtleford police Leading Sen-Constable Dave Jenkin said the Singapore woman, 21, was detected travelling at 138km/h on the Great Alpine Road between Gapsted and Everton at 4.20pm on Tuesday.

Sen-Constable Jenkin said she had been visiting from her home in Malvern East in Melbourne.

She lost her international licence for six months, was given six demerit points and fined $528.
