A BORDER angler has become a local YouTube hit after filming himself land a monstor Murray cod at Lake Mulwala.
Cameron Wilson, of Yarrawonga, couldn't hide his excitement when he caught the 112-centimetre fish on his first cast with a camera attached to his head.
"I have been copping a fair bit for my commentary but all in good humour so far," Mr Wilson told.
"It’s a bit hard to come up with something in the boat on your own when a once in a lifetime chance happens on camera."

The big, 80-pound catch was a long time coming for Mr Wilson, who had been aiming for a one-metre cod for two years.
"My previous best was 89cm," Mr Wilson said.
The video received more than 1500 over the weekend, proving very popular among the region's angling community.
