AUG 15:
FINALS are just around the corner but Ovens and Murray fans get a possible sneak preview of September when Lavington hosts Yarrawonga on Saturday.
The ladder-leading Panthers will be desperate to beat the reigning premier to hang onto top spot with just one game to go.
They're just three wins away from playing in a grand final at home.
Jake and Xavier dissect Saturday's blockbuster, as well as take a look at the rest of this round's action.

AUG 8:
THE Border's own Kayne Turner will make his AFL debut for North Melbourne tomorrow just a year after playing with Wodonga in the O&M.
Jake and Xave have again put AFL recruiters on notice, saying Turner is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to young talent in the region.
The boys throw a few other names from the O&M into the mix for the AFL and, as always, cover off on this weekend's local action.
Can North Albury play finals? Can Wodonga get off the bottom of the ladder?

Arguably the league's greatest rivalry has been re-ignited.
Fierce foes Wangaratta and Wangaratta Rovers are locked in a battle for the fifth and final spot in the top-five.
With four rounds still to go, it's well and truly up for grabs.
Jake and Xavier take a look at both clubs' run home and discuss whether the Pies can boot the Hawks out before season's end.
JULY 25:
ALL eyes will be on Saturday’s blockbuster between the Panthers and Tigers at Lavington.
Neither side has lost since they last met in round 5, with the unbeaten Tigers coming out on top that day.
And while Lavington hasn’t put a foot wrong since, Jake and Xave think the Panthers have plenty of work to do if they want to get anywhere near the premiership favourite.

JULY 8:
EQUALISATION has hit the O&M headlines and what a controversy it has caused.
On one side, local footy fans are screaming out for it, stating that the competition is so heavily dominated by the top-three it's not even worth watching any more.
On the other, there's the argument that every Tiger has its day and this is exactly the case for Albury at present.
But do they need to be stopped and if so, how can they?

JUNE 27:
COULD Wangaratta Rovers be the sleeping giant of the Ovens and Murray season?
While Albury looks a near-certainty to beat the Hawks in tomorrow’s clash at Albury Sportsground, Jake and Xave reckon there is still plenty for them to prove.
With a host of talent still to return from injury and some of their best players starting to find form, the boys think the Hawks could cause at shock when it matters.

The much-anticipated Tigers v Pigeons blockbuster is back but this time, Jake and Xave aren't asking who will win.
Instead, they're wondering "Can the Pigeons win?"
The Tigers have shown incredible form over the past few weeks and the boys reckon even their arch nemesis will have to step up to beat them.

Footy Fix is back and the debate is hot and heavy this week as Jake and Xave clash over Leigh Corcoran's three-match ban.
The boys "outright disagree" over the importance of a guilty plea in facing the tribunal while also having a crack at the severity of the penalty.
And would you believe it - they've even tipped against each other.
MAY 16: Pull on your boots Aker!
Should Aker play for North Albury tomorrow?
He wasn't picked but it remains to be seen whether the Brownlow medallist will line-up in tomorrow's crucial game against Wangaratta.
Xave and Jake think he should.
The boys also cover off this week's big round of Ovens and Murray footy, with two league greats to achieve significant milestones.
MAY 9: Koschitzke up against old sparring buddies
JAKE'S been dwarfed on-screen again - this time by former AFL 200-gamer Justin Koschitzke.
Kosi's ready and raring to take on the Tigers this weekend and despite continued knee troubles, can't wait to come up against old sparring buddy Setanta O'hAilpin and former Saints teammate Dean Polo.
