The married father-of-four had been camping in the area since Saturday - which was also the last time his family had contact with him .
Relatives contacted Yarrawonga Police today concerned he was not answering his mobile phone.
Soon after a body was found floating face down near Goat Island where the man was believed to be camping with his dog.
Family of the missing man are travelling to Bundalong from Melbourne.
The man is understood to have a medical condition and, at this stage, his suspected death is not believed to be suspicious.
