Yarrawonga boasts eights players in the 44-man squad announced today, including former Richmond player Kane Pettifer and former coach Craig Ednie.
However, leading goalkicker Brendan Fevola was a noticeable absentee, along with in-form Albury co-coach Chris Hyde. Seven Tigers are in contention, including Morris Medalist Joel Mackie, co-coach Daniel Maher and skippers Charles Gaylard and Luke Packer.
Every club is represented in the squad.
A final squad will be selected by interleague coach Matt Pendergast, along with his selection panel of Ron Montgomery, Jason McMahon and Leigh Ramsdale.
The O&M will clash with the Peninsula Football Netball League on May 25 at Carlton’s Visy Park in Melbourne.
