Gaylard left the ground late in the match with blood streaming down the side of his face and was admitted to hospital several hours later.
“There was a fairly big cut on the back of his ear which left a bit of cartilage showing,” coach Daniel Maher said.
With the split round this weekend, the in-form Gaylard is expected to be available for Albury’s next match against Wangaratta at Albury Sportsground on August 8.
Key trio Josh Maher, Andy Carey and John Mitchell are also expected to return for the clash against the Magpies.
Albury’s mammoth score of 35.18 (228) against Wodonga Raiders on Saturday and was the Tigers biggest since they kicked 24.23 (143) against the Raiders in 1989.
