ALBURY will honour the cost of human life and strive for world peace through a musical tribute tonight at St Matthew’s Anglican Church.
Two Japanese women will help residents remember Hiroshima and Nagasaki on the 68th anniversary of the atomic bombings that ended World War II.
World karate champion and soprano Natsuko Mineghishi and violinist Kaori Sparks will perform classical European and Japanese pieces.
They will be joined by Albury pianist John Ross.
Ms Mineghishi has performed internationally as an ambassador for global understanding and peace and her mother attended a relief concert in Albury following the earthquake and tsunami at Fukushima in 2011.
Anyone is welcome to attend the event starting at 7pm .
Donation on entry will aid world disaster relief.
