MASKED vandals threw a metal pole at two cars in an Albury car park on Friday night.
And a teenager was arrested for allegedly trying to break into the Jindera General Store.
Police said two cars, a Honda Prelude and a Holden Commodore utility were “maliciously” damaged when the metal pole was thrown from the car park at 9pm Friday.
The pole damaged the bonnet of the Honda and the back of the Commodore.
Police were told three people wearing hockey masks were seen running from the area.
They asked anyone who saw anything to phone Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
Meanwhile, on Saturday night, a Jindera youth, 17, was arrested over an attempted break-in at the Jindera store.
Police were called after the security alarm went off at the Urana Street shop at 11.40pm.
They went to a Jindera home soon after and spoke to the teenager.
He was later charged with attempted breaking and entering.
