OVER four months, participants in a series of printmaking workshops have honed their skills to a fine art.
Eleven artists now have their works on show at Creators Artspace on Gateway Island.
The exhibition opens for the final time this weekend, on Saturday and Sunday between 10am and 4pm.
The workshop was developed to bring together those from different backgrounds with an interest in art, to learn different printmaking techniques.
Participant Lizabeth Souness said the workshops taught her new skills and she was interested in attending more in the future.
“It’s an excellent program with very interesting and great people in an amazing atmosphere,” she said.
The exhibition includes more than 30 art pieces from first-time printmakers.
The exhibition opened last Friday and Ms Souness encouraged people to attend this weekend to have a look at the creations.
Another round of workshops will start in October and people wanting to participate can contact Ali Rowe at Creators Artspace on (02) 6041 3086.
