WODONGA police have released an updated description of the man wanted for questioning over the attempted abduction of a 13-year-old schoolgirl at Baranduda on July 23.
The girl was walking home along the Baranduda Boulevard about 3.40pm when a man pulled over near the Pro Hart Drive intersection.
He tried to coax her into his car but the girl ran away and sought help.
Previous stories indicated the suspect had a grey beard, was in his 50s, and medium size with a large belly, wearing cargo pants and a t-shirt.
Police now say the suspect was bald but with a short tidy grey beard with no moustache. He is not tall, still stocky with a large belly.
The car he was in is described as a grey/silver Toyota ute (possibly an older model from 5-10 years ago) which had a black canvas roof high canopy on the rear.
