A WODONGA man charged with the theft of goods valued at more than $150,000 during a burglary has been charged over a drug laboratory found in the city last month.
Troy Hawkins, 38, of Kelly Street, was charged on Tuesday with two counts of burglary, one of theft and the theft of a motor vehicle and for possessing materials to make a drug of dependence to traffic.
Co-accused, Benjamin Kennedy, 26, of Collins Street, Wodonga, on Monday faced two counts of burglary, theft and theft of a vehicle.
Both were remanded and will appear in Wodonga Magistrates’ Court on September 10.
Detective Sen-Constable Brendan Roche said the burglary charges involved more than $150,000 taken from a house on the Murray Valley Highway at Ebden between August 3 and 5.
He said a Toyota Landcruiser, firearms, electrical items and alcohol were taken.
Hawkins also faces drugs charges over the discovery of alleged drug-making materials at his home last month.
