CHEMICALS believed to be used in the manufacture of drugs have been seized after Albury police stopped a car for a routine check.
This all came about after highway patrol officers stopped a gold Nissan X-Trail on the Hume Freeway through Albury late on Thursday night.
Two men, aged 29 and 32, were arrested and taken to Albury police station.
They were later charged with dealing with the proceeds of crime.
Police have not put a value on the haul, nor identified what drugs could have been manufactured with the chemicals.
