TUNGAMAH will be looking to advance to the Picola and District league grand final when it takes on Waaia in the south west division semi-finals at Katamatite on Saturday.
After winning their two home and away meetings by 13 and 29 points, the Bears have every reason to be confident particularly with Waaia picking up several injuries in last weekend’s bruising victory over Shepparton East.
But coach Damian Payne remains wary.
“There hasn’t been much it in this year when we have played,” Payne said.
“It will be tight, but we are playing fairly well and raring to go.”
Shepparton East should defeat Blightly in the other semi-final.
In the north west division, Berrigan takes on Blighty and Strathmerton will do battle with Deni Rovers.
