ALBURY Thunder is confident of having a full list of players available for their major semi-final at Greenfield Park on September 15.
With the exception of Steve Meredith who has been ruled out for the season with a broken arm, the Thunder suffered only minor injuries in their final home and away match against Southcity last weekend.
Coach Josh Cale is recovering well from a calf injury while Mark Walsham and Ben Jeffery will also be fit after suffering niggles.
Jake Grace was concussed against the Bulls but will also be fit to play.
“The break has been a bit of a blessing to be honest,” Cale said.
“Everyone will be right by our next game.
“We have a few niggles and will have this weekend off but next week we will be back into it and plan to play a simulated game next weekend before heading to Wagga to watch Southcity and Gundagai.”
Southcity is unlikely to take any risks with injured players against Tumbarumba at Tumbarumba today.
The Greens have finished the season strongly and, with firebrand Aaron Sweeney set to take over as coach next season, the big forward will be eager to make a statement.
Gundagai does battle with Young at Young.
