On August 5 the 2012 State of the Climate was released by the American Meteorological Society.
The data sets shows last year was one of the 10 warmest years on record.
- Arctic continued to warm and ice reached a record low.
- Antarctica sea ice reached a record high.
- Surface sea temperatures increased.
- Sea levels rose.
- North American hurricane experienced above-normal activity.
This was only some of the data recorded.
Extraordinary events have become ordinary.
New research by Nature Climate shows that oceans are becoming more acidic and the end result will be that marine life as we know it will become affected.
It will effect everyone.
The politicians have discounted our future by promising the world for a place in government. Do not buy into it.
Let’s hang out for a better world, now and in the future.
