It is believed Ken Schulz was 14 years and seven months when he broke into the Bulldogs’ senior team under Don Calder in 1953.
Schulz edged out Myrtleford’s Gerard Knobel who was 14 and 10 months when he played for the Saints in the 1980s.
A host of 15-year-olds have broken into senior ranks including John Longmire (Corowa-Rutherglen), Rory Hilton (Raiders), Jack Ziebell (Wodonga) and Graeme McMillan and Dylan Pritchard (Yarrawonga).
