A MAN has been arrested over a Lavington home invasion in which gun shots were fired.
Police said a man forced entry into a home in Jason Court, Lavington, on September 1 and hit a 27-year-old man in the head with gun butt.
Two shots were fired into the ceiling before the invader fled.
Albury detectives investigating the incident went to an Albury motel at 2.45pm on Saturday.
There they saw a man, 30, in an outdoor area.
He ran off but was arrested after being chased for a short distance, followed by a struggle.
He was charged on a warrant in relation to the incident. He appeared in bail court yesterday where he was refused.
Police said investigations would continue because it was believed there was another offender involved.
