YACKANDANDAH will be looking to become the most successful netball club in Tallangatta and District A-grade history when it takes on Thurgoona in tomorrow’s grand final.
With the Roos and Kiewa-Sandy Creek boasting six flags each, Kylie Murphy’s line-up can go one clear with victory over the Bulldogs.
Murphy dominated her team’s 11-goal win against Thurgoona in the second semi-final a fortnight ago and is the obvious danger as goal-shooter.
The former Wodonga star finished runner-up to Barnawartha’s Georgette Meunier in the league medal and was named Coach of the Year.
Thurgoona has key players in shooter Lauren Coelli and centre Ash Jacobs.
Coelli has been a tower of strength in the circle all season while Jacobs will be looking to generate plenty of drive through the mid-court.
The match starts at 2.45pm.
