COBRAM detectives arrested a man this afternoon following a series of frightening burglaries in the town.
Police said a Cobram resident, 25, was arrested at 1.30pm from a Blackwood Crescent home.
He is currently in police custody and no charges have yet been laid.
Police said the arrest relates to a series of burglaries in Cobram during the past two months including the Dudley Park Lane burglary where David Hyde was stabbed several times after a break-in as he and his wife and two friends watched Friday night football.
Cobram Detective Sen-Constable Jason Williams thanked the community for their assistance.
