A COMPANY experienced in the Central European business sector is keen to raise the international profile of the Murray region.
New Challenge International Consultancy has partnered with Murray Now, a regional economic development group, to deliver opportunities to increase sales in new markets.
Principal consultant Mirek Zarnowski said it was all about exploring the opportunities in Central Europe for Australian companies.
“We are an innovative business that connects and introduces Australian businesses and culture, everything that Australia is about, into the central European markets,” he said.
“We know that cities are growing in population but much slower than regional parts of Australia and that’s why we are so interested in the Murray region.”
The consultancy has opened its first business and cultural centre in Poland to build connections with Australia and showcase products, services and art, as well as promote educational and tourist destinations.
Business consultant Antonia Kaucz said it was particularly interested in the wine and agricultural industries.
Murray Now director Nicole Doughty was excited about the partnership.
“It’s going to help businesses and it will boost our tourism over in the central European market, so it’s a great partnership to have,” she said.
“We are very optimistic about the opportunities for the future.”
Murray Now has facilitated meetings with businesses along the Murray River, including St Anne’s winery and Albury’s Johnsons MME.
