THE former personal assistant of former Wangaratta Council chief executive Doug Sharp has broken her silence on being forced to quit what she says is the best job she ever had.
Kerryn Lee resigned in July and a month later her former boss also departed the council with the entire corporate management team.
“I felt I had no choice but to resign,” she said.
“I was in a difficult situation where I was working for the CEO, mayor and councillors.
“I was not eating, I was losing sleep and had to go and see a counsellor. It got to the stage where it was affecting my health and family.”
Ms Lee worked for Mr Sharp for the past two years and in another role for the same period.
