YARRAWONGA has claimed a second straight Ovens and Murray premiership with a dominant second-half display over Albury.
The Pigeons held the Tigers scoreless in the final quarter and to just one goal after half-time to run out 13.12 (90) to 8.6 (54) winners.
Brendan Fevola kicked four goals for Yarrawonga, with Drew Barnes and Tyler Bonat particularly prominent for the victors.
Barnes was awarded the Did Simpson medal for his best-afield performance, kicking three goals.
Kayne Pettifer had a big second-half for the Pigeons, while reigning Morris medallist Xavier Leslie also proved a handy contributor.
For Albury, Andy Carey kicked three goals but the Tigers were simply starved of opportunities after the main break.
It was a solid crowd of 10,932 at the Lavington Oval, down from last year's record of 12,068.
