TALENTED Yarrawonga youngster Frazer Droop has romped to a stunning 14-shot victory in the Victorian Junior Golf Championships in Melbourne.
Droop, 16, turned the 72-hole tournament into a one-horse race by firing a brilliant 11-under score.
The Sacred Heart College student, who plays off minus two, was in outstanding touch around the greens, with his opening round 69 setting up his runaway victory.
He followed up with rounds of 67, 71 and 70 at the Northern and Yarra Yarra golf clubs.
Wodonga’s Zach Murray finished in third position, 17 shots behind Droop.
Droop is a former winner of the Victorian under-14 championship and earlier this month took out the prestigious Aaron Baddeley International at Croydon Golf Club.
