GROUP 9 officials are hopeful of attracting a record crowd for tomorrow’s grand final.
With seven of the 11 clubs represented at Wagga’s Equex Centre, league president Jack Morton said yesterday only poor weather stood in the way of a huge turnout.
Officials took $32,255 at the gate last year when Albury defeated Southcity in first grade.
“Gundagai has a big following and is in two grades and I’m told Albury will have a lot of people travelling to Wagga as well,” Morton said.
Matches start at 9.20am.
