A CHANGE is as good as a holiday, so the adage goes, and North East Water’s managing director Craig Heiner and new chairman David McKenzie will certainly attest to it.
The pair were pleased to today reveal North East Water’s new logo, as well as a novel piece of equipment bearing the graphic — a mobile water fountain.
“We thought it was time for a refresh,” Mr Heiner of the logo.
He added its release was timed to coincide closely with the company’s move from the Wodonga Council offices in Hovell Street to its own premises in Thomas Mitchell Drive.
The mobile water fountain is one of the first things to bear the logo and both men are confident it will prove popular at community events.
The trailer is available for free hire and features about 10 drinking fountains, at which people will be able to quench their thirst or refill reusable drink bottles.
