IF anyone could make 180 seniors rock it would be Michael Buble’s rendition of Fever — or something very close.
Glenn Starr’s tribute show at the Tallangatta Memorial Hall yesterday certainly went down well.
Towong Council might not have secured the superstar crooner to perform as part of Victorian Seniors’ Week but everyone agreed they got the next best thing with the Albury-born singer.
After all, Starr’s tribute to Buble is so good he’s on the cusp of performing at Melbourne’s Crown Casino.
Starr’s band included trombone player Eric Budd, who played with Buble at the Logies in April this year.
Tallangatta’s two-hour show featured the Canadian singer’s biggest hits.
