COLOURFUL chalk drawings have taken over the courtyard at The Cube Wodonga.
Border artist Mary-Rose Riley led the Wodonga Council activity yesterday and on Tuesday where residents were invited to write and draw on the pavement.
The name of the activity, Showers Forecast, left Ms Riley wondering whether it should have been re-named.
“It could have been called gales forecast — the wind was blowing everything over,” she said.
However, light showers are forecast today that could wash off some of the creations.
“It’s been a great activity to engage the community,” Ms Riley said.
“It is one of those activities which is fun for all age groups.”
