SHANE Lenon will extend his coaching career into a 15th season next year.
Lenon has been re-appointed for a ninth term at Riverina league club Collingullie-Ashmont-Kapooka with the Demons to start the competition as one of the teams to beat.
He also coached home club Ganmain-Grong Grong-Matong for two seasons and Lockhart for four.
Lenon is one of the longest-serving coaches in the region along with Lavington’s Tim Sanson who led the Panthers for 14 seasons.
Lenon, who won best and fairests with Myrtleford and North Albury earlier in his career, led Collingullie-Ashmont-Kapooka to flags in 2002, 2003, 2008, 2009 and 2010 and Ganmain-Grong Grong-Matong in 2004 and 2005.
“I have been going for a while but it’s something I still enjoy,” Lenon said.
“We have a young side and it’s exciting.”
