With the other three rinks locked in tense battles, Webb’s team was the difference, overpowering Chris Langdon 33-16.
Webb, 18, has been in top touch. He had the support of Graham Baxter, Dennis O’Donoghue and Ian Lewis as they skipped clear early.
Civic’s Ken Widdison defeated Rutherglen’s Graeme Goudie 26-20.
Rutherglen stayed in touch through Frank Seaton edging out Scott Widdison 22-20 and Bill Campbell sneaking home against John Bunn 26-24.
Wodonga followed last weekend’s impressive win with a 115-61 triumph over Wangaratta.
Although Greg McDonald took the honours against Ashley Bates 21-17, the Bulldogs were never threatened with Paul Carey accounting for Matt Muller 39-10, John Dawson too strong for Maurie Braden 31-14 and Jason King defeating Ian Brimblecombe 28-16.
Corowa Services took the honours against Yarrawonga-Mulwala GCR 113-106 and Benalla romped to a 117-77 win over Yarrawonga.
