JOSH Hayes has fired a blistering final round 69 to win the Wodonga Club Championship.
The three handicapper beat past champion and scratch-marker Peter Miller by four shots after the four-round tournament wound up on Sunday.
Hayes’ four-round total of 297 was also enough to win him the handicap A grade title.
The women’s club championship came down to a three-hole play-off between Catherine Odgers and Judy Langford.
Odgers held a one-shot advantage coming to the ninth, the last play-off hole.
But Langford was able to bomb a putt from distance for a birdie while Odgers, who plays college golf in the US, made bogey to relinquish the title.
Liam Gransden beat Jaydyn Walker in the junior boys, while Madison Peters won the junior girls and B grade women.
