ST Anne’s Primary School is gearing up for its biggest fund-raising activity of the year — its annual fete on Friday.

The 10-member fund-raising committee has been working behind the scenes for six months on a range of activities for all ages.
Big ticket items include the return of the amusement rides, the sumo suits and WIN-TV sports reporter Andrew Moir operating the spinning wheel, with numerous prizes up for grabs.
Committee member and teacher Elecia Turner said the fete catered for as many people as possible.
“As a small school, you can’t under-estimate the importance of events such as the fete,” she said.
“Every dollar is important to ensure our students get the best possible education.
“Like all fetes, a lot of hard work goes in behind the scenes — organisations and local businesses have again been very supportive.”
Plenty of food stalls will be on offer and children will have the chance to decorate cupcakes.
The fete will start 30 minutes earlier than previous years at 3.30pm and conclude at 7.30pm in the school grounds at North Albury.
