Wangaratta has been an attractive destination for provincial and city-trained horses in recent times and the trend continued.
Only victory by the John and Chris Ledger-trained Golden Olive denied visitors a clean sweep of the meeting.
Golden Olive was backed from an opening quote of $2.10 to start the $1.80-favourite and led all the way and score her second career victory.
Ridden by Dale Smith, the four-year-old mare defeated the Allan Fitzgerald-trained Go Bossy Pants ($4.80) by a long neck with Demeanour ($4) three-quaraters of a length back in third.
In form jockey Ryan Maloney claimed the riding honours with a double.
He partnered the Robbie Griffiths-trained Tycoon Queen to victory before combining with Seymour trainer Kate Goodrich to win aboard Like A Bought One.
