The students - from Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania - will compete in 16 sports over four days.
Wodonga mayor Rod Wangman said it was the first time the city had hosted the July event.
“This is a major coup for Wodonga and will bring significant economic benefits to our businesses, including accommodation providers, food outlets, transport operators and many others,” Cr Wangman said.
“We are thrilled to have secured the hosting rights for this event and believe it is testament to the quality of the sporting facilities here in Wodonga that an event of this size and scope will be held here in 2014."
Sports on offer are expected to include Aussie Rules, basketball, cheer, cross country, football, futsal, golf, hockey, lawn bowls, netball, squash, tenpin bowling, tennis, touch football, ultimate and volleyball.
