After handing out hundreds of awards in his position of Member for Albury, Greg Aplin was on the receiving end of an award last week when he was recognised for 10 years of community service.

St John Ambulance presented Mr Aplin with a certificate of appreciation as part of its Albury division awards for 10 years of service in the community.
Mr Aplin recently accepted a position of Southern Region president at the organisation.
His service has included promoting St John in Parliament and the media, guest speaking, supporting the opening of a new centre and the Albury Cadet Division and engagement in St John parliamentary committees.
Mr Aplin said he had great admiration for St John volunteers’ vital work.
“I think that’s it’s an honour first and foremost, but it’s something I’m happy to support because of the wonderful work they do in the community,” Mr Aplin said.
St John volunteer Corinna Farrer was named the 2013 Albury Division Member of the Year at the awards.
