Although players from both clubs have been reluctant to comment, it is believed Cricket Albury-Wodonga is investigating several unsavoury incidents.
Wodonga recruit Trent Ball was given a huge send-off by Wodonga Raiders players after being dismissed for a duck.
The send-off occurred after Ball in July publicly criticised CAW’s decision to promote New City and Wodonga Raiders from District to Provincial.
Ball, who had described the Raiders’ inclusion as “a complete waste of time”, received a verbal barrage after being dismissed by paceman Jesse Griffiths.
It is believed players and supporters also traded insults off the ground.
CAW chairman Michael Erdeljac was at the match for some time. He is believed to be talking to representatives of both clubs.
Wodonga made 7-248 before declaring. The Raiders are 2-44 in reply.
