A new branch of the bedding store makes its debut today at 469 Olive Street, Albury, taking up one third of the site previously dominated by Sam’s Warehouse.
The last Snooze store, in Young Street, closed several years ago.
But franchisee Ben Yan was confident the new store would thrive.
“It’s in a fabulous location in a very vibrant city,” he said.
“We look forward to playing our part in terms of making a contribution to Albury.”
Mr Yan said he jumped at the opportunity to open the store and thought it was a good time for the brand to come back to the city.
Snooze Albury will employ six staff at the 1000 square-metre store.
Mr Yan said they would stock a wide selection of bedframes, children’s beds, mattresses, lamps, manchester and linen, as well as offering the brand’s own bed-matching services.
The store will begin trading today ahead of its official grand opening next week.
