A driver has died after a truck rolled off a bridge and into nearby water at Meredith, near Geelong.

Ambulance Victoria spokesman John Mullen said paramedics were called on Friday to Meredith-Steiglitz Road.
He confirmed a truck had fallen off the bridge and into a creek or river nearby.
Victoria Police spokeswoman Kelly Yates said the truck lost control on Coopers Bridge before falling down an embankment and into the river.

The male truck driver, believed to be in his 50s, died at the scene.
Meredith-Steiglitz Road is expected to remain closed for most of the morning, and police urge drivers to seek an alternative route.
The state’s road toll for 2013 is 225, down from 271 at this time last year.
Country Fire Authority spokeswoman Andrea Mason said crews were helping with the rescue, and were expected to remain at the scene for some time.
