Wodonga police Detective Sen-Constable Justin Foots said a Jeep Cherokee was stolen from Albury before being set on fire on the banks of Wodonga Creek off the Bandiana Link Road at 1.40am on Saturday.
The charred remains of another car were nearby.
It’s the sixth car fire on the Border this month.
