As the weather warms up we see more people out on our roads, from pedestrians to cyclists to motorbike riders.
This of course means it’s especially important to take extra care on the roads at this time of year.
Through my work as a local road trauma lawyer with Maurice Blackburn, I know that driver behaviour can be impacted by distractions in the car, along with the stresses of trying to fit in so many things during the festive season.
The impacts of driver distraction and careless road behaviour can have devastating impacts on all road users and entire communities.
So this holiday season, please take some extra care on the roads, and let’s make sure we keep an eye out for our fellow road users too, so that we all have a safe and happy festive season.
