A NSW police spokeswoman has confirmed they are searching for a man in his 40s, believed to be from NSW.
She said he was first reported missing at 9.30pm last night.
The search is continuing with police and members of the Corowa and Albury Volunteer Rescue Association, including several divers and sonar equipment.
10.25AM: A person has gone missing on Lake Mulwala overnight.
Crews are this morning continuing their search for the person, believed to be a member of a family camping on the Victorian side of the lake.
It is understood Mulwala police and Corowa Volunteer Rescue Association members have been searching overnight.
Albury and Border Volunteer Rescue Association secretary Paul Marshall said they had just sent an additional crew over, with four divers, a large boat and sonar.
“There are crews down there at the moment and we’ll see how it goes during the day,” he said.
“We will have crews down there until we can have closure for the family.”
