They yesterday released images of Weaver who is wanted over three outstanding warrants, issued by Albury Local Court last month and, again, earlier this month.
Crime prevention officer Sen-Constable Emma-Jane Musgrave said the warrants related to incidents involving violence, contravening an apprehended violence order, damaging property and receiving stolen property.
Weaver, 23, was to have been sentenced last week after pleading guilty to receiving and disposing of stolen property.
Those charges related to an incident when he was with two other men in Centro Albury on September 11.
Another man helped himself to a tray of bracelets in an unlocked jewellery case. He put eight gold bracelets valued at $24,634 down his trousers and walked out with Weaver and a third man.
The trio went to a park where Weaver was given a $1700 bracelet.
Three bracelets have not been recovered.
Police said the thinly built Weaver was about 165 centimetres tall. He has brown eyes, black hair and may have a beard or a moustache.
Sen-Constable Musgrave said Weaver was often in the Springdale Heights and South Albury areas.
She said Musgrave should not be approached and any one seeing him should contact Albury police on (02) 6023 9299 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
Police also wish to talk to a man who could help them with inquiries about the use of a lost credit card on November 22.
Sen-Constable Musgrave said the card was used to buy $1000 of goods at supermarkets and petrol stations.
The man has a bald head with a rat’s tail at the back. He is Caucasian in appearance and has a thin build.
Information can be given to Albury Police or Crime Stoppers, quoting the reference number E456661591.
