Wangaratta Detective Sen-Constable Neal Thompson said a $25,000, 4.9-metre Stacer Bowrider was taken from West City Marines in Ashmore Street on Saturday morning.
A speed boat valued at $8000 was taken from Adams Drilling in Bickerton Street nearby.
“We believe the two offences are related,” Sen-Constable Thompson said. “We just don’t get boats taken from 100 metres apart.”
He said two cars would have been needed to tow the boats.
