POLICE are on a hunt for a weapon used to stab and kill a Cobram man outside a local service station last week.

Homicide Squad members, local detectives and SES volunteers have searched the area around the service station on the Murray Valley Highway and Station Street but have not found anything.
It has been alleged that the weapon used was a knife.
Detectives have asked for the community to take care in public areas until the weapon is found, particularly around Station Street, Oak Street, William Street and the Murray Valley highway area.
Anyone who finds any items of interest is asked to call police immediately.
