McNeil has made 206 runs at 68 with his brilliant 127 not out against Queensland on Saturday the second highest score of the championships.
His century came off 255 balls and included four boundaries and one six.
McNeil has also made scores of 41, 9 and 29 and hopes to finish with a flurry in Victoria’s final round robin match against East Asia Pacific today.
Victoria Country lost to rivals NSW on the opening day of the titles before opening their winning account with a 36-run win against South Australia.
The line-up then made 299 courtesy of McNeil’s ton but failed to defend the total thanks to Queenslander Sean Fitzsimmons’ brilliant 152.
Victoria suffered more heartache yesterday when Western Australia won by six wickets.
