DRUG dogs sniffed out cannabis, methamphetamine and ecstasy in Albury, Corowa and Mulwala, with police saying they were concerned with the young age of people netted in the operation.

Albury police's proactive unit teamed-up with Seeby the drug dog and her handler to detect drugs on people in licenced premises in Albury, Corowa and Mulwala last Friday and Saturday.
Police said six people were given cautions for possessing cannbis and a further eight people will face Albury Local Court for possessing ectasy, methamphetamine and amphetamine.
"Of concern is the young age of the majority of people caught in possession of illegal drugs, with five of those detected aged between 18 and 22 years old," police said.
Albury Police encourage anyone with information about the possession or sale of illegal substances to report the information, confidently, to Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
