A Wodonga couple got the fright of their lives early this morning when a car ploughed through their front fence.
At about 12.30am they heard screeching sounds before a loud crash as the vehicle smashed the half double brick and half corrugated iron fence of their Lawrence Street home.
The P-plate male driver escaped uninjured, while his female passenger was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Police attended the scene shortly afterward to speak to the driver and shaken couple.
