Stolen car rams into police car in Preston

A stolen car has rammed a police vehicle while trying to escape from a car park in Preston.

Two men were arrested after the incident in Raglan Street at about 9am.

'It happened in a car park. They saw the police and were trying to get away and they've rammed the police car," Inspector Ian Geddes of Victoria Police said.

"Perhaps the police car was in the vicinity of the exit."

No-one was injured, said Inspector Geddes.

The accident happened near the intersection with High Street.
