Inspector Kim Sorensen said officers pulled over a car in Logan Road at 1am on Saturday.
“The behaviour of the driver was such it aroused officers’ suspicions and they conducted a search of the driver,” Insp Sorensen said.
He said a folding knife was found on the driver before a search of the car allegedly uncovered a quantity of what police believe was methamphetamine and smoking paraphernalia.
The driver, a Chiltern man, 39, was charged with drug offences, including driving under the influence of a drug, and weapon offences related to the knife.
