In stifling conditions, the Lady Pirates started the game with more accuracy than the more favoured Lady Wolves, taking an early four-point lead after three minutes.
But Wodonga soon found its shooting radar and galloped to a handy 20-12 lead at the first break.
It was one-way traffic from there as the Lady Wolves romped to a 91-39 victory.
Echuca had no answer to Rachel Jeffrey’s athleticism as she piled on 26 points, 13 in each half.
Stacey de Koeyer (13) and Sarah Mellington (11) also found their range.
