Firms’ merger deal adds up

ALBURY accountancy firms Schnelle Partners and Carol Judd & Co have joined forces to create a broad-ranging practice.

Chartered accountant Roger Schnelle said Mrs Judd, a certified practising accountant, and her four staff had joined Schnelle Partners in Englehardt Street.

“We have grown from five people about 10 years ago to 18 now with the merger,” Mr Schnelle said.

He will remain the principal and sole partner in the business advisory and financial planning practice, which had a previous merger in 2011 with The Next Step when Paul Guy retired.

Mrs Judd has 25 years’ experience in accountancy and will be a consultant with the enlarged practice.

She has been a board member of the Albury-Wodonga Corporation since 2008.

Mrs Judd said the change to Schnelle Partners would be “business as usual” for her clients in taxation and accounting matters.
